This market resolves based on the total number of copies of Grand Theft Auto VI sold across all platforms (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S) during the first 30 calendar days following the game's official global release date. The 30-day window closes at 11:59 PM ET on the 30th day after launch. Sales figures include all retail and digital distribution channels worldwide. Resolution uses the official sales data published by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive (the publisher), or industry-standard tracking services including Newzoo, Circana, or similar credible gaming analytics firms that aggregate point-of-sale and digital storefront data. A near-miss example that does NOT qualify: pre-order sales completed before the official launch date are excluded; only sales during the 30-day post-launch window count. The figure must be definitively established through an official company statement, earnings report, or consensus of multiple credible independent tracking sources. Mere estimates, projections, or unconfirmed reports do NOT constitute resolution. The primary resolution source is official Take-Two or Rockstar Games disclosure; credible reporting from established gaming industry analysts (Newzoo, Circana, SuperData) may serve as a fallback if official figures are not published within 60 days of the close date.
